Frequently asked questions about fast cash oregon

  • It doesn't work - this is a scam. Read this article from 2008 and it's still going on because people keep falling for it http://consumerist.com/2008/10/how-a-nig... All you need to know is that Paypal prohibits ALL transactions with Nigeria and you have NO protection from Paypal if you ship to an unverified address which cannot be in Nigeria. Paypal also does not ask for a tracking number before crediting your account - only a fake paypal email does This is why Craigslist tells you to ONLY deal with people you meet face to face, NEVER give your paypal details to anyone and AVOID all transactions involving shipping or you will get scammed every time Scammers target anything electronic. Any time the buyer cannot meet you in person in a public location like a coffee shop, fast food, bank, public library, hotel lobby, etc and pay you in cash you are going to be scammed
  • How does one jump from Texas to California to Oregon, then to Michigan by way of Nebraska? Weird. I'd say somewhere in the neighborhood of $3,500 for gas (assuming you're driving a minivan.), and food (for about four people, if you mostly eat at fast food joints.) Don't forget spending money (I'd say $500 per person, for all those states), and if you're gonna be staying in hotels, bring another $1,500. For four people, total, that'd be $7,000. (Better bring an emergency fund in case you run out of cash and need to get home. Don't want to be stuck in some town you don't know working at a diner until you have enough to get home. I'd say an additional $1,000 would be safe. Don't spend it until you need it.) Have fun!
  • I traveled from Florida to Milwaukee, Wis and back in 2002 on my Harley traveling about 250-300 miles per day. I along with an estimated 100,000 other Harley owners will do it again in Aug 2008. The last 75 miles of the journey will be a police escorted ride directly into Milwaukee.
  • You need to figure out approximate mileage....do a Yahoo maps search for your destination....that will list the mileage. Then you need to know what your vehicle gets in miles per gallon.....Start there....and multiply. Or go to a AAA and see if you can get a Triptic for each of your destinations...Only you can figure the mileage to determine how much GASOLINE will cost you. Then you have to add in your food, and if you are staying at Motels a search for the costs of that is again online.....I dont think anyone can give you an answer even close....without you first finding out the mileage, and what your vehicle gets per gallon in mileage........ Gasoline for a normal sedan, and staying 3 nights in hotels from So.Calif to Mid-Illinois is about $400.00 roundtrip. Give or take here and there. That is driving 8-10 hrs each day and sleeping in a hotel each night.
  • Good measure is $200/day..figuring 400-500 miles per day; 2 tanks of fuel/day..food and motel room. Add to that any tours/museums you might want to see. Calculate 5-6 days from California to Florida..with some sightseeing..I don't know how long it takes from Fl to Mi.
  • i have, we drove from california ( where i live ) to south dakota and back. it took 10 days. we went to 11 different states and i'm not sure how much it cost because my parents were in charge of all that. we drove to south dakota for a family Reunion
  • yeah i have but avoid the south, its really boring, i would have to say though, california and nyc were by far the most exciting places I traveled to. OH and Seattle =)!
  • yes from Texas to Sasn Diego, from Texas to Miami and from Texas to DC--- what a trip!!!!!
  • I live in Oregon city and I'm 16 years old. I have never worked at a realll job before and I have nooo Idea to what to look for. I personally don't want to work for toco bell, McDonald's, or Windy's, I personally hate fast food places. I need some Ideas to where I should apply at for a first timer worker in Oregon. How can I look up jobs on the internet cause i'm not getting any sites to hiring. I am a sophomore in high school who just needs some extra cash around so I can get out of the house more. It would only be a half time job. Uggg I feel stupid (((haha dont comment on that one. lol XP ))) thank you for the help everybody
  • You should work for your favorite clothing store! Then you can get discounts on cute clothes :-)
  • Yeah it's sad. I'm 18, no money and no car. Well I work at fast food and it's alright, nothing special. Well I have National City for a bank and I'm about to close it tommorow. (I just don't like Pitsburg, and plus my mom created this account for me) So I think I'll feel better if I get a new bank on my own and start fresh. Well my problem is that when I get a check I spend a little but get fined alot.. I don't know how this happens, but it does. So I need you to help me find a safe way for me to store my money (like a savings account, from a good national bank.) See I'm in OH, and I'm about to work in Oregon, so I don't know what bank I should use, or even, what is a good saving account.. Like a regular one or a max saver or a CD? I'm looking to make something that will hold cash for the whole summer or year with intrest. Along with that I need an account to be used regularly, for like foods & goods. Please tell me what your ideas and recommendations are.
  • Avoid Citibank & BofA -- huge problems for both. You need both savings and checking accounts. Checking for everyday expenses, and savings for your future. Put money into savings first -- every payday! That's the first rule of managing money. Then survive on what's left. If you are getting "fined" alot or have a lot of banking fees, you are mismanaging your account and squandering your money. You know basic math, so keep track of your account -- money in & money out -- so that you never overdraw your account. You cannot be careless or your money will disappear.
  • If you are going to work in Oregon then you need to find a large bank that has offices in both Ohio and Oregon. I am not "FOND" of BofA but I think they do operate allover the U.S. Your first quest is to find a bank that operates in both states since when you leave Oregon to go back to Ohio you still want to be able to access your account in your home state. As for the type of accounts: You need a checking account for your regular every day dealings and a high yield savings account. Ask them to link the accounts and make sure they set it up to where the savings accounts is used as overdraft protection. You will still be charged a fee if ever the savings account has to rescue your checking account but it is a flat fee and not an overdraft plus "whatever they had to cover" charge. Most overdraft fees range in the high $30's where the fee for accessing your savings account to move funds over is around $9. At the same time... set up a monthly transfer (direct deposit" from your checking to the savings account so that a set amount is transferred every month into the savings account. This makes saving money easier since it is done just like automatic bill pay. Of course you want an ATM/check card that allows you to access both accounts at your banks ATM machine, etc. and that you can use to pay for stuff, etc.
  • You'll have to check around, typically banks that pay interest on checking accounts require you to have a consistent minimum amount usually around 15k. A CD pays minimum interest and locks your money in for a specified time. Generally, a longer term CD will earn more interest than a short term CD. If you withdraw from a CD early, you forfeit your interest payments. I would go with a national bank to make things easier in the event of a move. Check your previous bank statements. Were you over-withdrawing your account? Did you have "bounce protection"? Did you pay high ATM withdrawal fees? Did you withdraw at ATMs that were not your bank?
  • I live in a Republican Town in ORegon look it up Klamath Falls 50% of the people i know use food stamps and are staunch republican conservatives and love guns an religions YOU DO MATH I DID MINE UGTFO stop taking the cash from the government liberals pay more in taxes cons RECIEVE NO entitlments AT ALL fair deal an will shrink our debt to nothing
  • This is the "why don't liberals pay more taxes if they want them raised" argument back at ya. There will be no serious answer from them. They would never weed out their hypocrites, there's just too many.
  • Looks like they have at least one moron in Klamath Falls, OR to go along with all those government cheese eating Republicans.
  • Hopefully you will someday learn about run on sentences. Anyway, the government does not have a revenue problem. It takes in plenty of cash. They just spend it faster than they take it in. Thanks to our elected officials this country is $14.6 TRILLION in debt. That is an insane amount of money. Money that will take many decades to pay back. If it is paid back at all.
  • Not even a little. Liberals would just give the money to more illegals and their many many children. I'm going to take every single penny that I'm supposedly entitled to. Just like your pets. See, I'm one of the unacknowledged poor whites. And if I don't I won't be able to afford an ID so I can vote. You wouldn't want THAT, would you? I know you really care about my right to vote.
  • It reminds of a REPUBLICAN I know on welfare. He and his family are currently living in a shelter. The guy criticizes handouts and taxes as he holds out his hand. And obviously pays no taxes. WTF???? Edit: A thumbs down? That's pretty funny I have the job and pay taxes. He doesn't.
  • your question completely defies all logic I've been to Klamath Falls, the town is basically a blight. The only kids I saw walking around there were emo douchebags, I probalby saw you.
  • FIRST we have to stop voting for Democrats As you know, ALL elected Democrats WILL demand AT LEAST 150% of any such savings be spent on something else.
  • They don't stoop to food stamps, a cheque is delivered to the office
  • Huh?
  • its liberals who support handouts. you so stupid you can't even get your stereotypes right. EDIT- Oregon is a poor state run by liberals you moron.
