Frequently asked questions about best cash advance in North Carolina

  • I'm a casual holiday help usps employee.I started my job weeks ago and was told in advance of my payday. We were told that we would receive our checks on December 9th, but on the 9th the supervisors all played dumb. They claimed that we are in the system and someone from payroll (which is based out of another state) must have messed up the checks. They state that there is no number to payroll so we cannot speak to anyone as to when our money will arrive. Now only THREE casuals out of at least numerous other people were paid. Now (as an alternative because they have no idea when/where our money is) they offered casual employees 60% of their check. We have to take a piece of paper down to an office and cash it out. The other 40% will be put on the NEXT check which they will surely mess up. No one will tell me when we will get paid, they said there is no number to call to ask about the mix up, nothing. What are our options? It's been four days...no answers...or all different answers
  • Payroll, FMLA, time and attendance, etc. at the USPS--all of these are now handled through what is know as "shared services" which is located in North Carolina. I can't speculate as to what happened to your paychecks. (By the way, most of the supervisors at the USPS are not "playing" dumb.--Read between the lines on that one!). Fortunately for me, I haven't had any missing paychecks--I have Direct Deposit. About 20 years ago, paychecks were "lost" in the mail right before Christmas. The USPS stopped payment on those checks and re-issued new checks. The banks in my area were kind enough to offer Saturday hours. Fortunately for me, I had Direct Deposit.
  • Long past time to shut down the USPS, a huge dinosaur of government bureaucracy and incompetence. Fedex, UPS, and DHL etc, are poised to pick up where they leave off efficiently and competitively. The days of mail are over. Blacksmithing is a niche, people drive cars now. As to advice, you aren't going to get the government off it's lard, just wait for it.
  • Instead of asking this question over and over and over again on here, you can ask this question over and over and over again to management. *EDIT* - If management is not answering, then you go to their managers. We are not your managers, so we don't know what is going on.
