In some areas you can get a room in a dangerous are for 50/week. check on craigslist for prices in your area... with these rooms you usually share a bathroom and kitchen now it looks like this is actually a friend who gets some social security...she should lose that once she is 18/19 and no longer in high school if that is dependent child benefit....even if she gets SSI based on her own disability, she will be re evaluated as an an adult and the benefits could be terminated.   • Doesn't matter what state you are in, you have a contract with a company to pay off a loan. No matter what happens to the car, YOU owe the money. Sell it, abandon it, give it away.. (well, actually you prob. can not sell it since the lender still owns title).. but the bottom line is you will still need to make the payments or you will find your credit tanked and your paycheck garnished. .
