Frequently asked questions about indiana money

  • My friends and I were playing some instruments around town, and a few people offered us money. I wasn't in it for the money, but we accepted the offers. Now, my friend is trying to tell me that what we did was illegal. I have looked through Indiana laws and have not been able to find anything on it, so far. If you know whether it is illegal, or not, please let me know. Also, please leave sources. =] Thank you.
  • You might be in violation of laws concerning business, by earning money for playing music. But in order for it to be a business, it's something you'd have to be doing on a regular, continuous basis, not just occasionally at random. So, no violation there. You might be in violation of panhandling ordinances (local, not state law), but since you were not cited at the time of the offense, it's no longer a concern. But even panhandling laws are to prevent nuisances which disrupt normal activity. If there is no disruption, there is no panhandling, even if you're making money at it. No, I can't leave sources proving what you didn't do, but if your friend is so certain, then he should give sources proving what you DID do.
  • It's called busking, and your city may have regulations about it.
  • Professional musicians do it everyday. €
  • I have done some contract work in Indiana, and the market is about the same as everywhere else. The best way to find out is ask how many cars they sell per month and how many salespeople they have. 10 to 1 ratio is good. If you can sell 10 cars a month which is about avg. you should make$2500-$3000 a month. 10 years in auto Biz
  • You may go to any bank in the USA like Bank of America or Washington Mutual and tell them that you need to wire money to another bank. It's fast when you do it there in the US, BUT when the money gets in the Philippines they might take some time to release it. I did that before with CalFed now CITIBANK and the money was not released in the Philippines (PNB) after a week. It was stressful so I do not really suggest you doing a bank money transfer unless the money you are sending is over $15,000 usd if its less than that you can just go to WELLS FARGO/WESTERN UNION for a quick and easy money transfer.
  • First, what area or town in Indiana are you from? I've lived in Indiana and I tell you, there's no BofA there nor Washington Mutual (that is from the town I've lived). The quickest way for me to send money to a BDO account is via Xoom.com Most banks in Indiana are credit unions or National Bank, unless you're in Indianapolis, I think there's BofA there. Xoom.com usually charge me about $3.50 to $5.00 and it arrives in Philippines in hours! Western Union I think the lowest charge is $15.00. Not really sure but I'm not a WU fan.
  • Citibank has a great Philippine debit card program whereby you visit a branch, fill out some papers about who it's going to and where they live, etc. Then, the card is delivered to the recipient via courier from Citibank Manila. Once you get the card number from the recipient you can visit a Citibank ATM and xfer any amount for $8 currently.
  • u know xoom online?they are conected in BDO its like western union..its only few minutes to get the money
  • you can check by visiting their website www.bdo.com.ph
  • um im not sure but u can try this site: http://www.gamespot.com/ there could probably have some money cheat codes
  • Did I forget to mention that I act like a little kid, get bad grades, and do not listen to any of my parents! I get grounded for having bad grades,as well as lie about everything. I have to do chores around the house because that is what teenagers do. I do not have a drivers license and only have $250.00 saved in the bank. So you still think I can get emancipated? I think that I should just not have to do anything or listen to anyone, because Im going to turn 17!!
  • Indiana has no emancipation statute. It MIGHT be possible to persuade a judge to emancipate you, IF you have a way of making a living...that is, just having money saved up won't be enough, in most cases, unless you have savings of more than about $30K. You have to figure on earning about $1500-2000 a month in order to be emancipated. Even in states that have laws about emancipation, almost no emancipations are granted.
  • Probably not. You must have a job that you can love entirely on your own without the help of anyone else, a place to live that you pay for yourself, a good reason and parental consent. Less than 1% of all emancipations are granted. What makes you special? @Lynn... Please refer to Indiana statute IC 31-34-20-6. There you will learn you are wrong admit Indiana not having a method for emancipation.
  • You need more than just having money in the bank. You must be able to prove to a judge that you could live as an adult could, and that usually requires you having a full-time job, a plan to finish high school, not depending on someone else for support, and that you are mature enough to manage living on your own.
  • I plan on moving to Nashville in a year or so, and this is my 1st time I'll be being on my own. I'm 22 years, single (at the moment), and no kids. How much money do you think I should save before moving from Indiana to Nashville (6.5 hrs away from my hometown)?? I plan on attending college down there & having my OWN apartment
  • Enough money for deposits on your apartment, security desposit & first & last month's rent typically. Plus depositis for your utilities if you don't have enough credit yet. Plus money for all furniture and supplies. I'll say rent is 550-600 a month (I lived there, that's a normal amount), so you'll need say 1800 for the despoit for that, furniture can cost another 1,000-4,000 depending on what you need. Then other household supplies (silverware, towels, dishes, coffee maker, microwave, etc etc) another 500+ there depending on what you need. To be safe, I'd go with 5,000 which will pretty much cover the basics (1 couch, kitchen table, microwave, bed & deposits). You'll also need to be taking home atleast 1800 a month for any landlord to agree to even rent to you.
  • at least 5000
  • I don't think it's going to make it to Indiana. But if it does, Obama's resources and fiscal superiority to Hillary will definitely make a difference. See how it has helped already in PA. Obama 08!
  • We have a lot of close-mindedness here in the Hoosier state, but I think that Obama will still prevail.
  • I hope it doesn't continue that long. If it does, she in trouble. Maybe the old and young white women will help her.
  • oh gosh, i dont know what you can do but i moved to indiana from the west coast and it was hard to get by, ended up moving back. i hope you'll find something, a fast food resteraunt or something or try to find someone to room with? try selling some things? good luck:)
  • Try a church - although with the ecconomy what it is - I know many groups are straped for cash but they typically have some emergency suggestions. If you are escaping an abusive relationship - there should be shelter than can help you. There is a community action group but I can only find the Head STart number: Head Start 1502 W 15th St Bloomington, IN 47404 Map (812) 334-8350 Here are some organizations that the local United Way chapter supports - you may find something there: http://www.monroeunitedway.org/members.h...
  • Go to the local Police Dept and ask them to direct you to the nearest shelter for women and children. You will get the help you need there.
  • Get a Job get a lone?
  • A lone ??????
  • I lived in indiana for a while, all of the PROFITS go the education system.
  • I don't know about Indiana but in Tennessee they are using it for eduaction. Lottery money (schollarship) was what put me through welding school and it puts alot of people through other things. It is really good no matter what people think of gambling.
  • You live in Indiana? I do too.
  • It mainly goes in the peoples pocket that enforced it!!!!! You know the people in power!
  • They don't "garnish your tax" but they damned sure can garnish your wages! And if MI and IN have an agreement in place they may be able to recover IN state income tax refunds. Additionally if the money you owe MI is for MI state income taxes, MI can capture your Federal income tax refund as well.
  • Dear J: I do not believe they can. Check the MI dept of revenue and the IN dept of revenue. They do not seem to have a reciprocal agreement. Try the IN toll free number to ask a hypothetical question. This advice was prepared based on our understanding of the tax law in effect at the time it was written as it applies to the facts that you provided. Click on my profile to read more. • I'm in Illinois. I thought MI. and IN. had a reciprocal agreement. If so, they may be able to seize your state refund to satisfy your debt to MI..
  • I used to sell things on eBay like autographs and clothes. I sold some video games too and it usually brought me some pocket money. I know one guy who makes custom wallpaper for Youtube channels for like five dollars each. How much money do you need anyways?
  • sell some of your loths you dont wear anymore or tell your bf to send you some money or to pay for it himself hes the man he should pay for you
  • I am not sure but when I used to play pro (about 10 years ago) the Superbowl winners (players) were payed ~80 K versus the ~50K that the loosers got. I think NFL gives the Franchises money for getting there and winning also. I think it is still like that but w/ a little more money. Some players take a pay cut when the playoffs start. I.E. Payton Manning probably makes a half million dollars a week then when the playoffs start, he goes down to like 20 K /week and when they advance the money goes up all the way to the SB. Hope that Helps RJ
  • That is yet to be determined. Once a grand total is reached, the money is divided among members of the team based on their importance to the season. Team members who had limited playing time would get a smaller amount. Seems fair to me. Also, behind the scene people also get a share, (small). This could be trainers, clubhouse people, etc. I know that in baseball, even the batboy gets a little cash.
  • I think the individual shares are $73,000 per player from the NFL. They may have incentive clauses with the team for bonuses, plus any endorsement deals they pick up. It can be quite lucrative for one game, especially if you are not a starter.
  • risk stinks. he's nervous of each little thing i'm fairly specific who's going to win, i do no longer think of the paymaster would desire to have the figuring out element there, i think of it could be voted on like the way Survivor does. The entertainer voted of that guy b/c he enjoyed the girl, that stinks!! that's a humorous tutor, i'm rooting for Hoopz of course!!
  • it's indianaPOLIS colts by the way, not indiana colts
  • the entire team..as a whole prob $10,000,000...im talkin players, coaches, team owner, backup coaches...etc.
  • I think each player got like $75,000...
  • a couple hundred million
  • alot.
  • Yes, it will cost you money, but only about 0.25 cents.
  • at first, it relies upon on your plan. maximum in all hazard it is going to value you funds to message the guy interior the U. S. pondering the actuality that it extremely is a international textual content cloth message. The chum who lives in British Columbia relies upon on the plan which you have besides. maximum in all hazard it won't value you any further funds to textual content cloth her. i could recommend asking your mum and dad first earlier texting the two of them, just to be risk-free.
