Frequently asked questions about online loans alabama

  • http://www.totalcreditsolutions.net/inde... Could that be them? They're located in Alabama, but often these stupid collection agencies have more than one office. BTW, if you put " " around what you're looking for when you google something, it will only look for that exact phrase. (ex. "Total Credit Solutions" brings up their site) :) edit: I found an ad wanting collection agents that work from home for Total Credit Solutions: http://www.wnyjobs.com/job_details.asp?I... there's a link to this site: http://www.collectfromhome.com/ So, I suppose that could be them. Looks like they recruit people to work from home from various parts of the country.
  • This company is not showing up on the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. If you have more info about them, use the following site to do a search to see if they are licensed to do business in Florida. https://cf.fldfs.com/pubinqry/pub1/index... I did find the following address for a company of that name. 615 E Amherst St Buffalo, NY 14215 Phone: (716) 832-1708 This looks like just another junk debt collection agencies. Hope this helps.

  • It should not be very different from getting into a college in Alabama except for one thing. If you are an American, you will be considered an international student in Ontario. So, assuming that you get admitted to a college in Ontario, you will have to go through an additional step i.e. to apply for an international student permit. If you have all the complete documents, it is normally a breeze, but you may have to travel to the nearest Canadian consulate to apply (not sure if you can do it online or via the mail nowadays). Check out the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/ International students typically pay more tuition (sometimes 3 or 4 times more) than local students, so be prepared to pay. International students also have less opportunities to receive grants or loans as they are expected to be self-funding. On the plus side, you get to see a new country, and to make a lot of new friends. All the best, and hope that you can make it.
  • Canadian colleges to accept some American students, but not a lot. And there will be no financial aid and you'll pay non-resident tuition. You do have one year to improve, Junior year is the crucial year as far as GPA is concerned. You'd also probably want to be taking AP courses, even though there would be no chance of getting credit/exemptions for them. Look at the stats for how many US students the different Canadian colleges accept. That will give you a hint at what your chances are. Someone I know went to college in Montreal. She was an exceptional student.
  • So I knew nothing about walmarts piercing policy and decided I wanted to get my lip pierced. I have multiple managers and fellow associates with facial piercings and I figured it would be ok but I checked with management before hand just in case. The manager I talked to said it was fine as long as its covered up and I started being harassed by other members of management saying it wasn't allowed after I had already gotten it done. I spoke with the store owner in the corporate office and he said he would excuse me for the time it took to heal as long as I could put a clear spacer in it. So after two weeks of being out without any pay I went back to work with my clear spacer. One of my managers had her lip piercing in and the other one who has a piercing but didn't have it in started complaining about my spacer and forced all the salaried managers to pull me off my register and make me go home bc the guy in the corporate office never told them he ok'd the clear spacer. I talked to him again about it and he went back on oking the spacer.... I'm not allowed to go back to work until it is completely healed. I had to take out loans to pay bills and am considering quiting because of all this mess. So my question is, do I have a case to get unemployment if I quit based off the bad information I recieved when I asked if the piercing was ok and all the harassment I recieved afterwards? If at all possible, does anyone knows the guidelines on that in Alabama?
  • I did a lot of research online and I CAN get unemployment if I quit, I just have to have a good reason for doing so. My actions didn't cause the mess as I was responsible and asked management if it was ok before I got it done. I was on hold for the unemployment office for an hour trying to asked them but no one was available to help me.
  • You probably qualify for unemployment now, since they've sent you home under a circumstance where they previously said you could work. But if you quit, you don't get unemployment.
  • If you quit the job there is a good chance you will be denied. If you quit, the burden will be on you to prove the employer was in some way responsible for you quitting. This is not easy. Quitting because you violated a company policy (that you probably signed) will probably not qualify you for benefits. If you are fired, you would stand a better chance, however, you still violated a known policy. What you could do is to file a claim for "reduced hours" (saying your hours have been cut), and let the unemployment office sort it all out. They will contact you and your employer to try and determine what is going on with your work status. Be careful though, if you file for reduced hours, you will be paid right away. If it is later determined that you did not qualify for the benefits, you will be charged for an overpayment.
  • from what i know i am sure that if you quit, you will not get unemployment. When you go to apply for unemployment, they send the request to your employer, in your case, walmart, and since you quit, or plan to quit they will not approve it. Unless you get fired, maybe you speak with the store owner to lay you off. As far as the piercing, they have the right to tell you to stay home until it heals, since it is lip which is exposed also because you're a cashier and deal face to face with customers all day. To cheer you up a little, i would say move to New York, employers over here are not too keen on things as such. Good luck!
  • You quit you don't get unemployment any where. No you don't have a case because your actions caused the problem
  • You quit you get no unemployment. Why not remove piercing or get another job.
  • No. If you choose to end your own employment, you are not eligible for unemployment benefits.
  • There are very limited reasons that you can quit and get UI. This isn't going to be one of them.
